This painting is a depiction of villages from different cultures and if you look closely you will see several images of people throughout. It is an expressionistic work; simplistic in nature yet the colors are bold and vibrant.
I believe that there are earth angels in all of our lives. We are all born with many blessings and free will to influence others of what is just and good in the world. I am very grateful for my earth angels.
Me and My Shadow
Relationships can be challenging and my dear friend can attest to this. His trials and tribulations inspired me to paint him with a shadow, symbolic of his partner (a shadow of a man) or can be interpreted as his own shadow. The shadow does not resemble him and can be perceived as the shadow of a man he desires to be…
Calm Before the Storm
Life was still; you can hear a pin drop. Off in the distance the sky was dark and the wind danced with the trees. A storm was approaching and it was my time to hunker down and create my vision.
Sadly, the ending was inevitable for my girlfriend’s horse. When I came to the realization that I subconsciously painted him, I knew the direction for these two canvases. With each life that passes a new life is born. The swan and other images in this piece are symbolic of the beauty that will one day encompass our planet once more.
I have had the good fortune to make the acquaintance and friendships with many beautiful souls during the course of my life. The feeling behind this particular painting is when a very special friend was there for me during a very trying point in my life in which I was extremely grateful. I cherish the love and loyalty in people and the bright yellows in this painting are symbolic for the joy in my heart when people care for one another unconditionally. There are faint images of people throughout this piece. Can you find them?
I love lips because they form smiles that are a warm and welcoming communication, inviting others to open their hearts. I had a lot of fun creating this piece!
Looking Deep Within
In today’s world it is easy to fall into a pattern of a superficial existence however; if you allow yourself ample time to do away with electronics for enough time to sit alone, feel your feelings and meditate with your thoughts, your life will have more clarity. I sometimes look deep within.
Beautiful butterflies surrounded me to only console the longing I felt when my grandmother passed away three years ago. There was never a soul more loving, genuine and giving. The vivid colors in this painting portray the bright light she bestowed on many and she will never be forgotten to those that knew her.
Grandmother in Heaven
My grandmother lived until 103 years old and I was blessed to have her in my life as long I did. She taught me kindness, forgiveness and had the heart of an angel. This is my vision of her in heaven.
A Stormy Night
As the rain water inched toward my front door with bands still persisting from Hurricane Isaac, the need to paint the furry and anticipated beauty following the storm was comforting. My canvas, paint and brushes were my companions during the storm.
Love of Life
We are all free spirits to live life to the fullest within respectable boundaries. The female is frolicking in the water with complete gratification. She is a lover of the sea, sun and life
Do our souls continue for all eternity? If you examine this piece you will see that there is a G in the painting that is symbolic for God. I noticed this once the painting was complete.
We are people of many colors, religions and teachings yet we are all connected. One love, one God.
When creating Mary, I did not know which direction this painting was going. Upon completion it was clear that the female in this painting was Mary Magdalene. I leave it up to my viewers to determine who the male is in the painting.
Returning to painting after a brief hiatus in the corporate world, felt like home. It was time to celebrate indeed and this painting is a true depiction of such. The abstract movement has bright colors that are festive. The undefined shapes suggest that our future is unknown yet rich in hope.
Praying for Peace
This is what lives in my heart!
Love From Above
I feel the love of God every day!
The woman in the painting is me. Many times in life I have felt challenged in love, my career and relationships; nevertheless, I persevered. As the image illustrates, I break free from the bonds of difficulties and look to my higher power for guidance.
This painting is an interpretation of how I view the world in terms of color. I would love to hear your interpretation of this piece!!
My heart skipped a beat and I was overcome with sadness when I heard the news of Whitney Houston’s passing. I knew her pain was gone, but that the gift she left for all of us would live on forever. The figure in this painting showcases the boldness of Whitney during her younger years. It personifies her tremendous attitude and the force that she embodied. The colors are bright and sunny, yet soft like her spirit. Please add to the gallery and shop. Giclees are available and many sizes are available. Please inquire for pricing.
If you study this painting you will realize there is a treasure of images scattered throughout this piece. I created this painting with a very special friend in mind that has always been very dear to my heart!

The Naked Truth
My heart beat quickly with a song of reminisce when I was young, free-spirited and passion was a fury. Returning to the arts set free the passions once more. The soft colors that surround the young lovers are symbolic of the innocence and purity of their love, while the jungle-setting speaks to the hunger and lust they share. The truth lies in their undivided love, regardless of the evils in the world. They will always be safe knowing that their love is for eternity; true soulmates.
An Elf Living in a Fantasy World
I worked with an artist that did not compensate me for representing him. I paid quite a bit of money for his PR and to advance his sales. The galleries could not sell his work however; I had sold a painting for him! He fought with the buyer and sabotaged his own sale. Needless to say it was a lesson learned and after he attempted to tarnish my reputation throughout social medias, I decided to paint my vision of how he sees the world through rose colored glasses.
